My family and I went to see Beddroom Farce last week and it's one of the most funniest shows we've ever seen. We were sitting in the second row so it gave us a real intimate feel to the performance. The cast played their roles perfectly and there wasn't a dull moment. Already we want to go again. As far as the venue goes, we're always impressed with the Wolsey. Always pleanty of space in the car park (with reasonable prices) and the staff are always happy to help. The bar & cafe is always stocked up well and the toilets are always clean. I can't fault the Wolsey for their high standards, that's why I have no qualms about seeing performance after performance there.

The New Wolsey is one of the brightest spots in Ipswich - a great place to watch a range of professional theatre (traditional, physical, musical, fringe, and more and more and more), with a few quality amateur productions too. Decent prices and great views from wherever you prefer to sit - close in or from the back. Super, comfortable facilities plus courteous and helpful staff. Some people still think that theatre is high-brow, but if you come to The New Wolsey you'll realise that it's open and accessible for everyone.
