We booked Porth Gwel, as we were visiting family very near by, and were very very pleased with what the house offered. It is ideally situated in the heart of Portreath, with lovely views of the harbour, and a short walk from the beautiful beach. The house itself is extremely well stocked and our stay was very comfortable. Many thanks... more

Modern comfortable town house with everything you could possibly need for a holiday by the sea. Within easy reach of all of west Cornwall. Portreath has a lovely beach with a few shops for everyday needs, good food at the Bassett arms pub and the Atlantic bar. The Bridge inn just before you enter Portreath is also worth a visit.... more

Super location, very well equipped. Everything and more that you expect. Don't be put off by the inventory (includes curtains and light fittings). First time encountering this but had a good laugh about it! All in all, a great place to stay and will go again. DO go to the bakers in the Square - fab pasties, bread and cakes. more

Management response:

Thank you for a lovely professional review. Our apologies regarding the inventory - not our idea. It was one of the conditions of the tourist board last year. more
