Quality Assurance 4 star rated, Cedarcroft is one of three linked cottages, two acre gardens, private river bank, outstanding views. Resident owners, many regular visitors, established 1965. Very clean, well equipped. WIF

    Railway: Darlington: 33.0 km
    From the A1M turn off for Richmond then take the road up Swaledale to Reeth. Go through Reeth and continue out of the village on the Gunnerside road. Just past the fire station, take the first left turn down Langhorne Drive. This road ends in a T junction, take the left side , proceed 200 metres and our cottages are on the right, well labelled.

Booking for February anywhere in the UK means you take pot luck with the weather. It didn't rain a lot, but neither was it crisp sunshine, which is how we would have liked to view the cottage. Very nice cottage in ideal Swaledale location, on the edge of the village but with a handy alleyway direct to village green. From the back patio door there is a fabulous view down to the River Swale and the hills beyond. The extensive garden goes right down to the river, with a very small muddy beach. Have stayed in this cottage on several occasions and look forward to coming back each year. The cottage is very well equipped and maintained to a very high standard.
