Well what a nice suprise! I have now been to real Spain. Guaro is perched on a mountainside, painted mostly white and has narrow streets waiting to be explored. Once there, the tappas bars are excellent for quality, service and value, actually the best we have been to for years!
From the villa the walks are wonderfully exhilerating with countless photo stops. The smells from the orange and lemon groves are enchanting, there are towering imposing euculyptus trees in the valley below the villa which line the route to the village plus beautiful vivid coloured flowers lodged into the crags of the hillside, a special place indeed.
The villa was more than big enough for only 5 people on this trip, we used the sun terrace and the pool area for several hours each day. We utilised the massive American fridge freezer following a "big shop" from a supermarket 15 minutes drive away that David pointed us to.
