Sheerwater is almost at the highest point of this beautiful, quaint little village. There are a few steps to the property from car parking but it also quite a steep walk from the village. I'm not the fittest of people and did it twice a day ... what can we say ... the views and apartment far more than make up for the incline.
Sheerwater is equipped with high quality and good standard equipment and supplies. It is spacious and the views over the estuary are stunning and change every five minutes. Spent hours watching boats come and go, the tide come and go and could never get bored with it.
A lovely and most welcome, welcome pack was included, just right for a cuppa and biscuit after a long drive. Ample of parking and very quiet neighbourhood. Lots to do in Appledore and surrounding areas. Highly recommend Bensons pudding club (last Thursday of the month), The Seagate and The Champ for food / eating out or just the general atmosphere.
Locals are lovely...
