A relaxing bolt hole on the North Yorkshire Moors, what a find! Michelle gave us a warm & friendly welcome, showed us around and left us to enjoy our holiday. We enjoyed their new hot tub, it was bliss to relax and unwind in after a brisk walk on moors. The children had lots of DVDs, games & lovely large garden to play in. We loved Whitby and it's abundance of charm & character. We also enjoyed Robin Hood's Bay, Sandsend Beach and the nearby Steam railway. We had a fabulous meal at the Wheatsheaf Pub in Egton, and a fair few pints at the quirky Birch Hall Inn during our stay! The house is very spacious and beautifully furnished & maintained to an excellent standard. more

I know this area so I was looking forward to our week in North Yorkshire. Michelle was really friendly, efficient and helpful and when we arrived gave us a warm welcome. The house was very well appointed with everything we could want in it but it also felt like a home; we all relaxed in its atmosphere. The setting in the middle of the moors was quite spectacular and it was a joy to wake up to the view every morning; the children loved seeing the sheep around and the rabbits running into the garden. We particularly enjoyed going into Whitby, Sandsend and Robin Hood's Bay but there is so much you can do in this beautiful area. more
