Pear Tree Cottage is a pretty traditional red brick and flint cottage nestled in a quiet lane in the historical village of Castle Acre. Just a few minutes’ walk from The famous Castle Acre Priory, Castle and numerous footpaths the cottage is a perfect base for walking holidays, or people wanting to be away from the bustle of the main coast area yet being a short drive away. The house has a pretty rear garden that overlooks vegetable gardens and the Priory. It is sunny and peaceful. The centre of the village with its picturesque Green, tea shop and pub are just a couple of minutes walk.

Character cottage in the picture postcard village of Castle Acre, very comfortable beds, with a wonderful view of the sunflowers in the adjacent allotments from the master bedroom window. Fabulous hammock in the garden, big kitchen/diner, great for family meals and games.
Only hiccup was a large black spider lurking under the radiator in the living room, and plenty of not so large ones....would've been happier without them!!
Plenty of hot water, but the shower has a low ceiling, a problem anyone for a normal height. There is a bath though. Wine and cheese and biscuits, milk etc on arrival extremely welcome, and much appreciated.

Management response:

Thank you so much for your lovely review of Pear Tree Cottage. Apologies for the eight legged friends!! I know that the owner will be delighted that you had a good time, and we hope to welcome you back to Norfolk again sometime soon. Best wishes, The Norfolk Hideaways Team. more
