I stayed in La Gavia with a teenage daughter, a toddler and my mother. We absolutely loved the appartment. The complex is very secure with locable gates and entrances. The appartment has a lovely terrace, which is also secured by bushes on the other side, so I wasn't worried about my 2-year old wondering off to the pool by herself. The pool area was so quiet, hardly anyone there with lots of free loungers and umbrellas. I didn't feel once that people were fighting for space at the pool.
The rooms are very clean and airy, the kitchen had everything we needed and even more.
What we loved most is that the beach was within 5-minute walk (flat) and there is this lovely bar down at the beach that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, including fresh fish every day.
Puerto Banus is within 35-minutes walk, all along a lovely promenade. You can get a taxi back for around 7 euros, it takes 5 minutes to get back by car.
All in all a lovely holiday... more
