Whitwell Farm is one of our favourite places to visit on the south coast and we’ve been returning on a regular basis for several years.
We’ve stayed in most of the properties and have always been impressed by their comfort and character.
The location is always so peaceful that we just ‘switch off’ completely and savour the surroundings.
When the weather is fine we can sit on the private decked area and look out over the surrounding fields with the Seaton tramline in the distance, and when it’s raining we can equally enjoy staying inside with the logburner and jacuzzi!
There is no noise at night other than the occasional owl.
The village pubs and shop are a pleasant stroll down the lane, and the farm is within easy travelling distance of the nearby towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth with all of their shops.
The farm owners are very friendly and leave us to enjoy our time there – we’ll definitely be returning again soon!
