We stayed here September 2011 for our honeymoon and I tried unsuccessfully to get it listed on Tripadvisor at the time. 18 months later, time has not dimmed our memories and I feel the need to get the review published.
We arrived in the middle of nowhere after driving from Bari and were met by the owner. As I stooped through the door and looked up and down the length of the building, I wondered where everything else was. The building is about the size of my shed! It is very basic but truly breathtakingly beautiful. It has no tv, no radio, hardly any kitchen (although we managed to cook very well on a few evenings) and everything, with the exception of the bathroom, is all one room. It is a back to basics, simple lifestyle and we just loved it!! We even managed to cook a pizza in the woodfired pizza oven which is built into the trullo.
