Ideal for families or groups of friends, it offers picturesque and cosy accommodation and is situated in a secluded location above St jean d'Aulps with breathtaking panoramic views. It boasts easy access to the local resort of La Grande Terche (5 min) and the main Portes du Soleil ski area (10-15 min). Summer activities include mountain biking, swimming, rafting, adventure parks, beaches on Lake Geneva and much more.

    Large living room incorporating a newly installed kitchen and dining area. Two double bedrooms, a room with 4 adult sized bunk beds and a large mezzanine with 2 stacking beds. There is a shower room and a bathroom with a hip bath - both with WC. There is a cellar with a drying area and space to store skis and mountain bikes.
    There is Wi-Fi, a plentiful supply of games and books, and a CD/iPod player. n.b. there is no TV (this is considered an advantage!)

What a fantastic week! The chalet was really well equipped and extremely comfortable. A lovely place to come back to after a great days skiing - really warm and fantastic views down the valley across st jean d,alps and the surrounding mountains. We stayed at Chalet Les Favre over the new year period 2013/2014. The Chalet owner provided simple and comprehensive instructions of how to get up to the Chalet and how to get in which made arrival pretty simple. I have now stayed at Chalet Chez Le Favre at least 5 times. I keep returning with different people. It is a very traditional chalet retaining many of the original features but with a recently modernised kitchen and excellent heating and plentiful hot water.
