Hut Pointe is a charming, eco-friendly resort featuring seven tastefully decorated residences on lush grounds near Governors Harbour. Each residence has two bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen, dining area and large bathroom. Each suite is fully air conditioned and features a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the second bedroom, a fold-out sofa in the living room, full-service kitchens with microwaves, gas stove and ovens, balconies, wireless internet access, satellite-fed television, telephones, DVD players, and CD players.

Historic Hut Pointe was built in 1944 by the first Premier of the Bahamas (1964-1967), Sir Roland Symonette. Abandoned for over a decade, the beautiful, two-story solid stone building was purchased and completely renovated in 2004 by new owners who appreciated its natural beauty and location. In addition to the solid stone construction, Hut Pointe's interior floors and roof rafters were constructed with all Abaco Pine (now extinct) and mahogany decks on the east side of the building. This is truly one of the most prestigious and unique buildings on Eleuthera.

Historic Hut Pointe is centrally located 8 minutes from Governor's Harbour and 8 minutes from the airport, an ideal location for those wanting to explore the entire Island.
