We had a good week at Longeveau, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and sporting facilities. We liked the option to self cater or use the very good onsite restaurant, the fresh bread and croissants available each morning, the table tennis, golf and tennis and the ice creams in the bar. We had a sunny back garden, shared with a row of gites and met our fellow guests out by our little barbecue. There were plenty of children around to make friends with ours and the area was safe to let them go off exploring. There was a shared swimming pool and toddler pool which the children did enjoy but I found to be a few degrees too cold. The gite itself was pleasant and had everything we needed and being built of stone walls was cool in the hot weather which was a bonus.
The local area was pretty with river beaches, canoeing, water slides at St Aulaye, horse riding at Bonnes for the children etc.
All in all I would recommend it more
