The apartment more than met our needs, traveling with my wife and mother in law, we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable (by Mexico standards), the hot water was more than plentiful and Salvador was a gracious host. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the town center that seemed to get shorter the more often we made it, probably something to do with getting used to the altitude. I felt safe walking back and forth to the town center, even after dark, and in fact when walking away from town centre as did my wife. However, my mother in law remarked that she wouldn't walk back by herself, but a cab is only $2usd, so walk there and take a cab back if your tired or don't feel comfortable. Having said this, everyone felt totally safe and secure in the apartment.
My only negative to this review is that I think it's overpriced for what you get. It's not a bad place at all, I enjoyed it and it met our needs, I just don't think we necessarily got a good value for what we... more
