We booked this cottage at the last moment, after we had seen it when visiting Branscombe for the day. When looking at it online, I was rather concerned that the ceilings would be a bit low for my husband who is six foot tall. He did have to remember to duck under a couple of beams, but by and large it wasn't an issue. Having your own parking beside the cottage rather than in the lane that passes the pub is a real bonus. But the best thing about it is its proximity to the Fountain Head - a really great pub. If you're worried about noise - and that was another reason we had dithered about booking it - don't be. There is a thick hedge between the cottage and the pub, and the walls of the cottage are so substantial that you do not hear very much at all.
The cottage is very well-equipped, although, as there is no mobile reception, perhaps the owners should consider installing wifi for those desperate to stay in touch without the outside world - it didn't bother us.
