We were placed in this house after the house we originally rented became unavailable due to a kitchen fire, which was clearly not the agency's fault. The agency assured us this was a better house, bigger, in a better neighborhood. This was after finding that the house we had originally rented was misrepresented on the map, showing it as closer to town (which was an important criteria for us when we rented) than it actually was.
When we arrived the lawn was overgrown and the cabinet beside the back door was stacked with bric-brac, which, when removed, revealed a very dirty surface. The house itself was clean and looked like it is staged for sale. While certainly every room was livable, the house had an unlived in feel. The house has three spacious bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom (and a smaller bedroom connecting to one of the larger ones through the bathroom), and three more downstairs, two with no windows and far from any bathroom.
