We stayed at Topaz cottage during an extended trip back to Blighty and Europe to visit friends and family. Our party consisted of our 2 teenage daughters, my wife, my wife's mother and myself. As we used to live in a cottage of much the same dimensions, we felt perfectly at home and did not find the space at all... more

Management response:

Thank you for your review, describes the cottage very well. The parking is on road as described on the web site with plenty of space on the quiet lane for normal family cars. 4x4's or such like are OK but can be a tight squeeze for the bin lorry. more

What a wonderful cottage , very peaceful alongside the river. The cottage is very cosy with a clear handbook about the cottage and things to do and places to eat. Excellent cooking equipment and little extras Like your salt , pepper, and other condiments plus foil and cling film, those extras make a difference. On arrival milk , tea coffe... more

Management response:

Thank you for your review, as we come to the close of another season it is time to start the decorating and changes required to keep the cottage at its best for next year, so a return visit would hopefully impress you even more. We would be pleased to welcome you back at any time. more

Topaz Cottage was clean, well maintained and presented and felt cosy and very welcoming. It is a delightful cottage full of charm and character in the lovely picturesque village of Sidbury. Nearby are some amazing coastal walks and bike rides along the Exe Estuary. We thoroughly recommend this cottage and would love to return one day. more

Management response:

Thank you for your review. The character of the cottage and its location feature heavily in lots of the online and offline reviews. It is pleasing that guests look after the cottage so well during their holidays and we thank you for that. We would be pleased to welcome you back at some time. more
