Casa Della Loggia is a pretty little house situated in the 'Antico Borgo' - the historical centre of the unspoilt - and traditionally Soutthern Italian - hillside town of Calitri. The 'Borgo' is a labyrinth of pretty cobbled streets and steps leading up to a piazza and an 11th century castle.

Calitri sits in a corner of Campania bordering Puglia and Basilicata. It is roughly midway between the Amalfitan and Adriatic coasts (approx 70-90 minute drive) and is in the countryside of Irpinia where there are numerous ancient villages high on the hills and mountains and ruins of old castles and churches. There are many places of interest nearby to visit, lovely countryside walks or you can just sit and relax outside the house and enjoy the stunning views.

For such a small town, there is a wealth of bars, cafes and restaurant...

We spent seven days in this quaint accommodation. and found it very clean and comfortable. The location in the old town meant the centre with its many bars and restaurants as well as the ancient castle are easily reached on foot making a car unnecessary. For those wanting a hillside town in an unspoilt tourist location this is ideal.
Ms Luckham proved informative and efficient answering any query speedily and her recommendations were spot on.

Additional Rate and Availability Information
The reason a one night stay appears to be so expensive is that the cost to me of cleaning the house and provision - and laundering - of towels and bed linen and meeting and greeting you is the same whether you stay for one night or 7. If you wish to stay for more than one night but less than a week please contact me as the price per night will go down according to how many nights you wish to stay and, of course, the season.
