We stayed for a week here, we'd never been to Houndapitt before so didn't know what to expect, but from the minute we arrived, we were amazed with the quality of the place. Walking into a lovely bright cottage really nicely decorated and furnished. Having tea, coffee and sugar on the side and some very delicious cakes left for us by the owners made a brilliant start to our holiday. On the first evening when we were cooking our dinner, the oven packed in, so admittedly we weren't happy this happened, but from the minute we told the owners of the cottages we couldn't of asked for better service, we were given somewhere else to cook our meal whilst they fixed the oven, and by the end of the evening, we had a brand new oven in place because the old one couldn't be repaired!
We brought our Labrador with us on holiday, so having our own enclosed garden was brilliant, and having it open onto the big field made it even better for excercising him.
