    Condo/Apartment –
    Studio, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
Cosy retreat for couples, situated in a tranquil, lush garden, about a mile from Penzance town.
Our cottage is ideally situated for North and South coasts of West Cornwall, where there are superb beaches, moorland, cliffs and coastal walks.
We can personally advise on surfing, swimming and cycling activities in the vicinity.
The cottage is heated using a German radiator system which is very efficient and effective, and so is perfect all year round for short or long breaks.
Outside there are dining table and chairs for al fresco meals, and a barbecue.
Inside there is a kitchenette with electric convection oven and 2 hobs, fridge, toaster, kettle, chairs and table.
There is a sofa, tv/DVD player, and attached to the bedroom a shower room with loo and washbasin.

    How to get there
We are about 2 miles out of Penzance town, there is a bus, but only about 2 a day, so a car would be preferable unless you are keen walkers, as we are fairly rural.
Directions- on the main A30 road into Penzance, you will pass a Sainsburys store on your right, then a Tesco store on your right, carry straight on at Tesco roundabout towards Penzance (sea and railway on your left). Take the next right turn to St Ives and Gulval, Follow this road to the next left hand turn to Heamoor, take this turn then the next right to Newmill and Zennor. Follow this road for about half a mile until you see Trevaylor Care Home on your left, after this you will pass a second entrance to the care home, then take the next left up a small lane (opposite Foxes Farm Shop). Pyg-gwyn is up this lane, past 3houses o...

We loved this place. Everything about it had been thought about and every detail was perfect. After driving from Cardiff (four hours away) we rang Jo the owner who gratefully provided us with some directions and upon arriving at the site we were welcomed by a smiley waving woman who showed us to our accommodation. Unfortunately there was a tiny... more

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

I stayed in Pyg-gwyn for 3 nights in November. I was looking for a quirky homely place to stay in Cornwall on my own. This was just ideal. The owners were so friendly - and made great flap jack! The rental itself was perfectly formed - lovely and warm which I wasn't expecting. Everything that I needed was there -... more

All good with Pyg-Gwyn. Visited in early November for two nights and were warm and cosy in this enchanting "beach hut." Idyllic setting with a view of the sky that we would like to have enjoyed in better weather from the chairs on the decking. Yes, was rather tricky to find, fine with Post Code and a helpful chat in... more
