    The Courtyard is a beautifully presented single storey barn conversion situated on a working farm in West Sussex. With a light and spacious open-plan living area, it is perfect for families or groups of friends to share, whether it is for a holiday or short break. It is one of a pair of barns which, between them, can accommodate up to 16 guests.

    The Courtyard has a comfortable sitting area focused around a wood burner, for which fuel is provided. There is also a TV (with FreeView) and DVD player, with Wi-Fi internet available.     When short stays are available, they can be a 3 night stay from a Friday or a 4 night stay from a Monday. These short stays are charged at 75% of the weekly rate.

    In order to make a reservation more than 60 days in advance, a reservation fee of 30% of the rental value will be required, the balance then being due 60 days before the holiday starts, along with the booking fee of £35.00 and the refundable security deposit of £150.00. Payment can be made by debit card or credit card, or bank transfer. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.

This was quite a special holiday, the first one for our twelve week old grandson. We selected the property with care. Our criteria included more than one bathroom, stone floors because our daughter's dog was coming on holiday, well equipped and of a high standard.

Arriving at the property we were impressed. Very well designed, with a private, well screened courtyard garden which had a washing line, garden table (no chairs but it was March), easy parking, a very good first impression. Opening the front door our first impressions continued, but there was an immediate smell of oil. We already knew the layout was open plan with a large kitchen area and sitting area. The decor, furnishing, equipment and facilities were of a very high standard and it was spotlessly clean. We couldn't think of anything the accommodation didn't provide. Washer drier, dishwasher, laundry basket etc. more than sufficient crockery and cutlery, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and hand...
