My husband and I stayed here in Villa 1 and it was outstanding in every way. Perfectly clean, perfectly equipped, modern, but romantic as can be!! He had never been to Slovakia before and wasn't sure about staying in a resort town for ten days, but he was converted when we stepped in the door and by the time we'd walked down the pedestrian street and had dinner at the Dedinka restaurant he claimed he never wanted to leave! We often talk about what a happy time we had here, both in the town and the hills around it and at the Villa. Our parents and friends heard about it through us and they want to go too! Fortunately the place is really spacious and could easily handle a big group, I think.
Trencianske Teplice is a lovely small town, lots to do (spas, the Hamam, restaurants, festivals) and incredibly affordable: you can have a huge, delicious meal in the best restaurant there for two people, with wine, for about $20. I don't know if it's really the place to go to lose... more
