Kusa's Place is where world-traveling hostel aesthetics meet modern conveniences. Carissa, the hostess, is friendly and accommodating. In fact, if you hold still for too long, she's liable to feed you!
The room downstairs is private with a half bath around the corner shared with one other room; plan to hike upstairs to take your shower. At any given time, Carissa may be hosting exchange students or other travelers who may share their stories with you. Carissa herself, having grown up in Nepal, has a few good ones herself.
For the price and atmosphere, I highly recommend skipping the hotel and bunking in at Kusa's place. Unless absolute convenience and solitude is your goal, you won't be disappointed. more
