My husband and I, mother and brother stayed here for 3 nights and it suited us well. good sized living area, well equipped kitchen, balcony off the bedroom. Would have liked a light over the kitchen sink and a full length mirror, but over all a great place and we'd return. more

Management response:

Nice to have feedback from guests of how we can improve on our accommodations. We have been constantly adding improvements over the past 7 years. Light over the sink has been achieved by redirecting one of the spots. We are working on adding a full length mirror. Thanks for the suggestions. Ross and Nancy more

Enjoyed another relaxing stay in the carriage suite. Been coming here for years, both in summer and winter. Suite is bright, roomy and has all the comforts of home. We prefer to take the "self cater" option, but can vouch that Nancy's breakfasts are delicious. It's on the new waterfront trail to Courtenay, with access to other biking trails throughout... more

Management response:

Doris and Ted are excellent guests. We always look forward to their visits and a chance to talk about what's going on. They maintain our suite as they would their own. This trip we had a chance to discuss home construction and show them new ICF construction of a home in the Ridge above Royston. Ross and Nancy more

Nancy and Ross were great hosts - easy to talk to and available. We know we got a great deal and felt spoiled by the accommodations, especially compared to a hotel room stay (which we had on the second half of our trip). We were on the run most of the time and the location was central to everything we... more

Management response:

Stephen, Jennifer and their Daughters were busy travelers. They used Royston House in the Comox Valley as their central Vancouver Island home base to travel to the west coast, Sooke, and Victoria and North (all day trips)that were pre-planned before arriving here. As most of our guests have discovered, the Comox Valley is a hidden Gem that can also consume... more
