We hugely enjoyed our first stay at One Beach Court in St Ives's snug artistic quarter,in early September 2015. This was no 'glorified beach hut' experience,but rather a feeling at home in a chic and tastefully arranged two bedroom apartment. Fresh flowers in a vase greeted us on arrival! This property is equipped with all you need in regards to cooking and washing but no washing machine. You'll need to take all you need for drinks and meals of course. Lovely towels are provided for use in the property. In easy walking distance there is a corner shop. A shop serving ice-cream, coffee and beach equipment is yards away... more

The apartment can accommodate up to three people in two double bedrooms. One bed is a memory foam 4' 6'divan; the other is a 4' pocket sprung divan. Fitted wardrobes in each bedroom, each with hairdryer and clock radio/alarm.
The kitchen is fully equipped for four, with oven, four ring hob and microwave.
Power mains shower.
Central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators.
Relax in the evenings with a flat screen digital TV/radio which has an integrated DVD player, i-pod dock and Freeview channels. We have a library with books of local interest and a collection of DVDs for our guests.

Both companies charge around £60.00 to pick up from Newquay airport. Much cheaper than taking a taxi off the rank at the airport. Newquay airport is about an hour's drive away.
Travel by train is easy. Trains to St Ives involve a change at St Erth on the Penzance line.
Book in advance for cheap deals, group savers (3 people or more) and overnight sleeper services, run by First Great Western. A 'super advanced solo sleeper' compartment currently costs £49.00 and you arrive in St Ives at 08.15, fresh and ready for a holiday.
