This house is less than 2 miles out of Keswick and the town is easily walkable, or there is a bus hourly. The village of Braithwaite where the house is situated has 3 good pubs and a shop. We didn't need our cars at all, all week.
There are 6 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the games room - all very comfortable, nicely furnished, plenty of wardrobe space. Dining room and sitting room both lovely. Free Wi-Fi was a real bonus.
The kitchen is quite small but workable and very well equipped with pots and pans, crockery, cutlery etc. - it all seemed quite new.
There was nothing we didn't like about it and would definitely go again.
