    Great Cleave was once part of a threshing barn which dates from the 17th century. This modern barn conversion of upside down design retains many of its original roof beams and trusses in the high ceilings of the sitting room (15ft to the apex). This creates on one side a double bedroom and the other a gallery which is popular with children. The gallery also has a futon which can be an additional bed.
    There are 4 double bedrooms, (3 on the ground floor) 3 bathrooms (all with tubs and showers), dining/living area which can accommodate up to 16 diners,gallery seating area, Freeview, DVD, VCR, fully equipped kitchen including range master double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, woodburning stove (wood provided).

We have booked this property for many years which is one of three converted barns run by Tim and Barbara Clark. The setting is idyllic and the hosts are charming always available living on site in a lovely Devon long house opposite the Properties. They are very helpful nothing is too much trouble and are always there when needed. The facilities are excellent a real gem of a place. Dogs are very welcome too. more
