We stayed here as we wanted somewhere close enough to walk into Torquay, it's literally about 8 minutes and you're in the harbour! The quality of the accommodation was amazing, the place was spotless and furnished to a high standard. Parking was tight but it was off road and included in the price so we couldn't grumble. The only real problem we had was the wifi connection. As it's sharing a router with the other flats you can only really get a connection if you go outside or stand next to a certain wall, not a deal breaker but if it doesn't have reliable wifi then it shouldn't really be advertised as such. This really minor detail aside i'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a great base from which to explore the local area. The owners were helpful and provided everything we needed. more

We stayed here for a week in June with our dog, we loved this place and will defiantly be back to stay again. We love Torquay and 5 Torwood Gables is situated within easy walking distance of the town centre and avoids having to park in town etc as you have your own parking space. The accommodation itself is fab and offers everything you will need while staying there such as a washer/dryer and a playstation to keep the men folk entertained, not only that but on our arrival there was milk in the fridge, lovely flowers on the breakfast bar, washing up liquid and even some washing tablets for the washing machine!!! These lovely touches made the place even more welcoming. We also had access to free wifi while in the property.
We loved evey minute of our stay here and will hopefully be back for more as soon as we can.
