I stayed at Yew Tree Cottage for 2 days with 2 friends. We wanted a simple girlie hassle-free break and we certainly achieved this during our stay.
Firstly, the location was brilliant - in a short walk we were on Stow on the Wold's high street. A great little village with lots of shops, art galleries and antique shops - great for a few hours of pottering around. Lots of pubs/restaurants/tea shops so we were not bored during our 2 nights/3 days. For one of the days, we did a very easy 7 mile walk across fields and through woods to the Slaughters in the April sunshine.
Secondly, the cottage itself was spacious enough for 3 adults and had everything we needed: A well-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge and 2 double bedrooms. Throughout the cottage was clean and comfortable. The reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is because there are a few things which could be improved to make this cottage perfect - a log fire, 1 of the rooms would benefit from being a twin room instead of a...

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, thank you for your comments, as we have only just started to let the cottage, they are very helpful. Bath mat, bins and hand towels in the bathroom and downstairs Wc will be provided in future. We decided on 2 doubles, as there will be 2 singles in the Attic Rooom very shortly....
