    Ferry: Hull P&O Ferries to Zeebrugge and Rotterdam: 9.0 km
    By road from the west:

    Approaching Hull from the west on the M62, proceed past the end of the motorway onto the A63. Follow the A63 Clive Sullivan Way past the Humber Bridge into the city along the bank of the River Humber. Take the left-hand exit signposted 'Local traffic/Infirmary'.
    Proceed to the roundabout and take the second exit (straight ahead) Rawlings Way. Take the middle lane at the crossroads, keeping straight ahead.
    Proceed past Hull Royal Infirmary (on your right on Argyle Street) and over the railway bridge to the end of the road (Derringham Street), where you should take the middle lane.

First of all may I say what a lovely welcome we recieved, it seems family run and friendly no chain hotel atmosphere! Once greeted we were shown to the apartment and given a tour then left to our own devices. The kitchen is great for family's who want to save some cash and stay in as there is lots of fridge, freezer and cupboard space. It has all the amenities you could need and most extras were present from cleaning stuffs, to cling film to condiments. If you're more of a dining out type of person then there are a number of restaurants a quick 30 second drive down the road or a 5 minute walk of you'd both like to have a glass of wine. There are a variety of food places from Italian to Indian and a fair few not too far away on the gourmet or taste card if you are a member. If you are visiting with family or simply a kid yourself like me The Deep is only a 10 minute drive and also there is a lovely park nearby to take a picnic to and enjoy the lovely weather.

I have recently enjoyed a second week at 2 @ 109 Hull having stayed there in May 2014. I'm already looking ot return in July.

I booked the apartment as an alternative to a soul-less chain hotel. The price was very favourable and the website looked great. However, websites can be misleading. In the case of 2@109, the apartment was even better than the website suggested. It is spacious, private, clean and furnished to a really high specification. Time spent there is a joy and, apart from the cute black cat who visits the garden, it is pet-free so there are no unpleasant, lingering animal smells or hair.

The apartment has an incredibly well equipped kitchen, massive TVs in the lounge and the bedroom (in case that is important to someone booking) with a selection of films to watch, plus a bedside clock radio and an ipod docking station for those of us who prefer music.
