This was our extended family's second stay at Swallow Barn and on both occasions it served as a very comfortable and well-equipped base for a brief stay in the Lake District. For 8 people of various ages, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with plenty of living and dining space, makes for a most enjoyable holiday. Views across to Morecambe Bay... more

The cottage is situated on a farm with views to the open countryside. It was lovely and clean and very spacious for the 8 of us. M6 closed so we went the !ong way round and still found it in the pouring rain and it is an amazing property so well equipped with views that will be even more spectacular without the mist and rain. We intend going back again. more
