    By train, take Virgin mainline west coast train to Oxenholme (Kendal). Change for connection to Windermere, station 0.5 miles from cottage. London Euston / Oxenholme- 3 hours.

Stayed at Undercroft for 4 nights at Easter with our 3 boys, age 3, 5 and 12. The house has the wow factor and was spotlessly clean. The Undercroft is a superb, luxurious and great value cottage situated just around the corner from Windermere town itself.
