“lovely cottage, private, clean and peaceful - close to york”

Great set up, welcoming and helpful owners, convenient for York, we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage which was warm, clean and cosy. We even walked along the river side into York. Most definitely will be returning and would highly recommend.
Only neg comment is no towels are provided, so remember to pack your own.

Chestnut Farm Cottages were perfect for our stay just 3 miles from York but in the quiet countryside (the option of using the park and ride on the way into the city too). The accommodation was of a high standard with lots of character, the cottage warm and cosy and the hosts are on site and really take care and pride in their holiday cottages. They were friendly and helpful in planning our days. These cottages are available for 2 night stays and over we were not tied in to a whole week. Thank you! We will be back...
