The apartment is a converted Victorian coach house, with lovely views. There's a pleasant, enclosed courtyard with a table and seats. Free, safe parking and easy walking or bus routes mean you can forget the car and enjoy the city's many attractions.

    We want your self-catering holiday to have luxury and comfort as well as the freedom to come and go as you wish. The apartment has been recently refurbished, is well furnished and equipped and maintained to a high standard. There are plenty of towels and the cotton sheets are freshly-ironed!

Upstairs, a newly fitted kitchen/dining area with integrated appliances, an oak dining table and chairs, and a living area with two sofas (one converts to create a generous single bed), flatscreen wall-hung TV/DVD with Freeview; WiFi broadband. Also a double bedroom with space for cot. All these have fine views across gardens to riverside. Downstairs, overlooking the pretty courtyard, is the second bedroom and a family bathroom with double-size powerful shower (no bath). Travel cot and high chair available. Safe cycle store. Use of washing machine/drier can be arranged.

My husband and I stayed in this flat for 3 nights to visit York and the surrounding country. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat over two levels (one double bedroom and the bath are downstairs, other double bedroom, living room, and kitchen are upstairs.) Would highly recommend the Coach House. Stayed here with a friend for a short break and it was perfect. Located in a quiet leafy area, access to the city centre was easy by foot, but equally, a great base for trips out of town as it is close enough to all major routes. We were 2 couples who stayed in the Coach House, and we all loved it. Sue was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived (plus incredibly flexible and check in and out times), and answered all our questions.
