    Ash's Barn, set in beautiful countryside is a quiet hideaway for couples in the heart of the Cotswolds.
    This recently restored 18th Century stone barn has been converted into a comfortable living space, with well equipped kitchen and living room, and above, a mezzanine floor sleeping area and shower-room.
    It also boasts high oak beamed ceiling; limestone interior walls; underfloor heating and woodburning stove.
    Private and secluded, the barn also has its own parking, and garden with terrace overlooking the Windrush valley.

    Situated 5 miles west of Burford and 5 miles east of Northleach just off the A40 road:
    From Burford:
    Turn right off the A40 road at the western most turning signedposted 'Windrush' (the turning is situated directly adjacent to a building on the side of the main A40 road and is the second turning when approaching from Burford). Follow the narrow lane about 300m, down through a wood, and ahead of you on a slight bend is a farm house. Turn left into the farm yard, bear left and then right.

Ash's Barn is an excellent restoration, very open feeling and the terrace is a great place to enjoy the view of the village and perhaps a bit of wine. John is most accommodating, friendly and a source of several eatery locations. And, for any fly fishing fans reading this, The National Trust just down the street has 2 beats on... more

I would actually go so far as to say that this is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. We both fell in love with the barn instantly and thought it is particularly perfect for a romantic weekend away. There are so many nice places to visit in the Cotswolds but our favourite part of the trip was relaxing... more

everything about this property was great! beginning with John, the owner, who help and answered all of our questions. the price was remarkable for such a nice converted little, romantic gem. worth every penny. it is a beautiful little house, homey and welcoming and in a good location. we enjoyed a week of exploring the Cotswold and returning every evening...
