    The cottage is one of two lovely single storey barn conversion situated in the grounds of the owners home just over a mile from the tranquil village of High Bradfield. Bradfield is a beautiful area on the north eastern fringes of the Peak District National Park perfect for walkers or cyclists or those wanting simply to enjoy the peace and tranquility of an unspoilt landscape. The cottage has one double bedroom, an open plan living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom with bath and shower. Local amenities can be found in the villages of High and Low Bradfield including local pubs, shops and leisure facilities.

    The cottage has one bedroom with double bed (sleeps 2) , an open plan living and dining room (with sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 children or 1 adult) and a fully equipped kitchen. The separate bathroom has a hand basin , bath, wc and separate shower. The cottage has the benefit of central heating and additional heating from a log burner effect electric heater in the living room. All heating and towels and linen included in the rental price. In addition a welcome tray with local food and drink produce is provided free of charge upon arrival.

We had a lovely stay at peat pits farm. Sara and her family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cottage is beautiful, clean and very well equipped. We chose to stay here as our son was getting married in the next village. On arrival we discovered a wonderful welcome pack,containing fresh bread, eggs, milk, real butter and selection of jams along with tea/coffee etc. Sara was very friendly and apologetic for the building works happening in their courtyard next door, which she had pre-warned me about. Small but comfortable. Ideal for a couple. Felt like you are deep in the Peak district, but actually 4 or 5 miles from outskirts of Sheffield. Very friendly owners & polite children.
