Lovely accommodation. There were a couple of things that could be improved but are not likely to ruin your stay. The ten minute walk to Stratford is more like 20 mins but quite a pleasant walk. Cost of stay is driven up by all extra charges. Gas and electric and wifi are all added extras on top of quite a steep rental charge. Watch the hot tub the chemicals were so strong that we had tarnished jewellery and a purple costume that turned brown among other items. Though in fairness they didn't charge when we mentioned it it still cost us putting things right. Also had to wait for over a month for return of good housekeeping bond. Housekeeper on site was very helpful. more

Went as a large group of friends in Oct 2012. The property itself was attractive and well-furnished but considering the price we paid per couple (around 100 pounds for 2 nights) was similar to that for a hotel in the area, however, we were expected to pay bills and clean in departure, it was poor value for money. Service provided from the owner was terrible too.

Firstly, all gas, electricity and water are charged extra - again, given the price, we would have expected this to be included. Charges for using hot tub were 150 for the weekend - we would not have objected to a surcharge but this was far too much for 2 day's use so we opted out of using it.

During our stay, the lights in the kitchen were not working properly which resulted in us not being able to use it for our first night and then being provided desk lamps to use for the second.
