When, Who and how much:
We stayed there during the bank holiday at the end of May and we payed around £470 for 3 nights. This is not cheap but as we only booked a few weeks before and that there wasn't much else available for the bank holiday, I would say that was reasonable. We were two couples (in our 40's) with 2 kids.
Cleanliness and general state of the cottage:
When we arrived we were a bit put off by a smell (wet dog) in one of the bed room but it dissipated quite rapidly, some part of the kitchen floor was a bit sticky but there is all the necessary to products to give it a quick clean.
On our last day, we didn't have any hot water, the owner had a look and called straight away a plumber, this was no good for us as we were leaving but if we were staying longer I'm sure this would have been fixed quite rapidly. Apart from these details, the cottage was very clean and welcoming, it has a homey feeling and was decorated with taste.
