Cwm Cottage is a 130 yr old Quarriers Cottage nestled within Cwm Penmachno, a tranquil village steeped in the slate mining history of North Wales.

    Cwm cottage offers comfortable 6 bed accommodation with lounge and kitchen diner. There is also a front facing garden and back patio with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. For those with families there is play park locally also. Walking from the door is possible as well as mountain biking using the excellent mountain nike trails in the Machno Valley. The area is also well equipped for geocaching, horse riding and many other activities.

We had an amazing week staying in this lovely cottage. The location is stunning in a friendly beautiful small village. We climbed up the mountain to the disused slate mine, visited the nearby waterfalls and did the high rope course in betws y coed. Betws y Coed in only 15 mins away for the shops and has lovely walks. Cwm cottage is in the most stunning of places, the pictures don't do it justice. It's in a valley, mountains, greenery, forrestry as far as the eye can see, an old slate quarry one way which is actually a much nicer walk than I imagined and fields the other way. Had a lovely break with my husband and three grown up children. The house was vey smart and very homely. It was lovely and warm and had everything our family needed. A large bath, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Would gladly recommend this house which had the bonus of Internet and satellite TV. more
