As part of a group of five people, we stayed for two nights in the Braeside lodge (Ballintoy) while exploring the beautiful Antrim coastline.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the landlady whom was very friendly. The house was well heated with towels etc available for our use.
There were three bedrooms, two toilets (one shower/bath), kitchen, dining room, living room and a sunroom.
We found the location of the house excellent for walking, as it was literally a 5 minute stroll to the famous carrick a rede rope bridge, from where we commenced our coastal walk to the giants causeway.
There is a link bus that connects all the coastal towns between Ballycastle and Portrush, which we found to be extremely handy for our return trip from Giants causeway to Ballintoy.
Ballintoy itself has a few pubs but has no shop, so it would be advisable to stock up before arriving and the only other slight drawback is that there is a poor telephone signal.
