We rented this chalet for a week in early August 2013, in a group of 6 (two pensioners, one with mobility difficulties; two adults, one 3 year-old and one 1-year old). We'd stayed two years previously and had a thoroughly lovely time (excellent weather) and decided to return again.
The outstanding thing for families is how safe this poperty is when you have young children. It is well fenced in and has plenty of wide open space for them to roam and play football, cricket etc. It is also conveniently located for a wander around the local village and a drive (or train trip) over to the sprawling metropolis (!!!) of Oban. The scenic view is also outstanding and the owner of the property is very charming.
The chalet itself contains a large, walk-in wet room, making life very easy for anyone with mobility issues and is, in itself, lovely even if you are fully able bodied. Rooms are generously sized; one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. High-chair and cot are rentable... more
