    This delightful cottage is the completely self contained wing of the owner's Victorian Mansion House. At the entrance to the property there is a secluded garden area with outdoor furniture to enjoy the warm light evenings, as well as the facilities to enjoy a log fire from the lounge. It also enjoys a private aspect with views across the paddock to the woodland beyond.

    GROUND FLOOR: spacious sitting/dining room with open fire. Well equipped kitchen. Cloakroom room WC and wash hand basin.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from the owner. The cottage is beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable and the welcoming log fire was an added bonus after a long journey. The location of the cottage within the owner’s estate is peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sheep and llamas each morning whilst having breakfast. St Boswells is within easy walking distance for groceries and a ten minute walk brings you to the banks of the Tweed. Edinburgh is only an hour away by car. We will return. more
