My husband and I spent a week in this lovely newish flat located just one mile north of the Royal Mile. The fourth-floor flat, easily accessible by a lift, was comfortably appointed, well-maintained and had a designated parking spot for our car. Having two bathrooms was a bonus. Bus stops were very handy, making access to Old Town and New Town very easy. The view from the flat of the entire skyline of the Old Town was just amazing! Grahame Jack was a delightful landlord, and we eagerly recommend this property for a stay in Edinburgh! more

We stay in apartments often when we are overseas. This is definitely the most comfortable we have ever found, at a price that is a real bargain. We needed to spend two weeks in Edinburgh for business and were going to go the "lazy" route, staying in a Marriott Residence Inn. However, they would not guarantee a non-smoking room! So at the last minute, we were stuck looking for an apartment that was not already rented.
Our needs: Definitely non-smoking. Very quiet.
We lucked out. Grahame Jack had just decided to put his apartment up for rental for the summer season, and we were his first customers.
This rental turned out to be fabulous. Grahame is a real gentleman. The apartment was light-filled and spacious, with a fully modern kitchen with all the necessary utensils. We were never once bothered by noise. The bed was oh-so-comfortable and one whole wall was glass, so that you could look out in the morning and see the city dawn with the majestic castle reigning...
