My spacious third floor victorian flat is full of light and space and feels like a real home, equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. An ideal space to explore Edinburgh from, it's only ten minutes by bus/taxi from the bustle of Princes street, but a world away in its peaceful, green, residential setting, beside the Union Canal. The large sitting room is furnished with antique furniture and an enormous sofa which converts to comfy king size bed. There's a TV with internet capability and it enjoys stunning views of leafy Harrison Park and the Pentland Hills. I rented this flat for when my extended family was coming over to stay. They were six, but the flat can comfortably sleep seven people. My family found it clean and well presented on arrival with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The Harrison Holiday Flat is a beautiful Victorian Flat. It's on the top floor with no lift, so you need to be able to walk up stairs. But once you get in, there are 2 good size bedrooms and one smaller one, a large well-equipped kitchen and a lovely lounge with a large flame effect gas fire and a bay... more

We were traveling with friends and were very happy to stay in this beautiful place. The flat was ideal for 5 persons. The only problem was to find a parking place for the car. more

I am glad the guests found the flat beautiful. It is a typical Scottish Victorian tenement flat, which has lots of character and space but never comes with off road parking. My flat benefits from being just outside the controlled parking zone, which means that on street parking is free for guests, and doesn't require them to obtain a permit.... more

From the airport the flat can be reached in approximately 30 minutes, using the Express Airport Bus, no 100. This stops at Haymarket Railway station from where a local bus (no. 4 or 44) takes one close by the flat.

Haymarket railway station is only 2km away. From there trains run every few minutes to Waverley Central Station, which is on the main east coast railway line running from London to the very north of Scotland. There are direct trains to Glasgow every fifteen minutes from Haymarket station as well as direct trains to Stirling and other locations in Central Scotland.

The flat can be reached by car in twenty minutes from Edinburgh City Bypass and as there is free parking in the street it's easily accessible for the car driver.
