    2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 4
Originally two cottages, this very spacious and comfortable cottage is perfect for a family of four or one or two couples. It has an enclosed garden and pets are welcome. There is a kingsize fourposter in the double room with bathroom adjacent and the twin has an en suite shower room.

A half hours drive west of Pitlochry, located on Dunalastair Highland Estate, which is family-run, near Kinloch Rannoch, Highland Perthshire, it is a breathtakingly beautiful and unspoilt part of Scotland. The estate has cattle and sheep on the hills and red deer run wild on the tops. There is trout fishing and a tennis court for guests and nearby are water sports, bungee jumping, canoeing, safaris and beautiful gardens, castles, distilleries and so much more. We are off the beaten track yet with...

Within only a days drive from the south of England and here you are in wild Highland country without having to drive further north. If you come up the M6, stop off at Tebay in Cumbria which is the only privately owned motorway service area in Britain and is much the best. There is a nice hotel there too, the Westmorland, where we stay to break the journey.

If you visit Edinburgh on your way, be warned that there is a lot of disruption due to tram works. You might be best to park in a Park and Ride on the outskirts and bus in.

Stayed in West Drumchastle Cottage in early November and had the most peaceful, restful break I could have wished for! It is secluded enough without being too remote if in need of assistance. We arrived late in the evening after a horrendous wintry drive up from the south; on arrival, Debbie, the manager, had prepared us a fire and left... more

We had a lovely stay in Tuim Cottage, it has a lovely big lounge and very comfortable accomodation as a whole, it could just do with a bit more items in the kitchen department (other than Pyrex dishes) . We had a great week where the weather was so wonderful that we never had a coat on, and our holiday... more

We stayed a week at Bridge Cottage and found it homey and welcoming. Among those there to greet us were two swans, a group of black-faced, Highland sheep. many red squirrels, a pheasant cock and his hen. They were frequent guests. Bridge Cottage is sited perfectly at the East end of the reservoir. The views are spectacular. It's a great... more
