We are currently staying in this lovely cottage tucked away in a quiet spot just over half a mile from Aberfoyle itself. The cottage is immaculate, beautifully laid out and tastefully furnished. The garden is well maintained and has all you could ask for - if we were here in the summer we would certainly be out ther sitting on the lovely furniture and using the bbq. Our daughter has been out there talking to the cows every day!
The area is wonderful - one of our favourite places to come to - we have taken the wee lass to Stirling Castel, The David Marshall visitor centre, the sail on the Loch on the Sir Walter Scitt and we are taking her pony trekking, on a segway safari and to the sea life centre at Loch Lomond during the rest of our stay.
Only thing I would change about the cottage would be the mattress in the double room - too hard for me and my hubby I am afraid - we like something we can sink into ;0) That aside we cannot fault a thing - the views from the... more
