My husband and I had a reunion with two other couples at Pitchers House. It was totally as advertised, and even better than we hoped. It was clean and comfortable with nice beds.
The kitchen was great with an Aga stove going 24/7. Our pals had great fun with the stove and we ate the results! The back garden was a nice plus. We only had minor quibbles: the washer was a bit tricky, and the shower in the shower room a bit challenging. Not all people want to wet their hair every time they shower. Also, a place to put soap or shampoo would have been appreciated. The stairs are uneven and tricky. The location is lovely, right on the High Street. The town couldn't be more charming, with tea rooms and nice restaurants all very near. We were very happy. more
