    Situated on a quiet road, this comfortable villa offers tranquility and privacy but with all the comforts of home.
    The pool is salt water for your sole use. On the terrace there is a BBQ, pergola with seating for 6, sun loungers and a large private garden with trees and shrubs providing some shade on hot sunny days.
    It's within easy walking distance to the village of Gravelle with a bakery, bar and a butcher who owns the small restaurant next door where you can enjoy a four course lunch for 11 euros or just 2 courses for 9 euros. The nearest supermarket is in St. Astier (7km) and Perigueux (10km)
    There is a large forest behind the house where you can truly get away from it all. You won't see many people but you may see wild deer, otters, falcons and eagles, bring your binoculars...

    Railway: Razac: 3.0 km
    Ferry: Caen: 530.0 km
    Driving from Calais is 760kms and takes about 8 hours. (via Boulogne-Rouen-Le Mans- Poitiers- Angouleme).

    There are a number of alternative ferry companies, compare costs with Aferry.com. You can even do a 24 hour cruse to Bilboa and drive 4 hours up to France to extend your holiday.

    By air nearest airport is Bergerac, but Brive, Limoges, Angouleme, and Bordeaux are within 1 to 1.5 hours and are a pleasant drive. Fly with Ryanair, Easyjet, Flybe, and Jet 2.

    Rentals cars are available from airports and train stations if you prefer to take the train to Paris/Limoges/Perigueux for the same price as an airline ticket! You can book Hertz through Ryanair and their rates are competitive. Europcar and Avis are also available.

I booked this rental quite late in the season but honestly it couldn't have been less stressful.
