Charming and quaint, this vacation rental with a pool near Beaune definitely is secluded and yet that's one of the perks of staying here! Venture into town, see the vineyards, and walk those streets like you’re part of a movie because that's exactly what you should do when traveling to France.

[1500m2] Very much secluded, this 18th century house is situated in a quiet position away from any road and features lovely views of the Saone Valley. There is a terrace furnished with a table and chairs as well as a barbecue, bar, sink, and dishwasher. The private swimming pool [10m x 4m] is surrounded by sun loungers and a landscaped lawn. The caretaker lives on the grounds in an apartment but does not use the swimming pool. Covered parking is available for up to five cars.

Ground floor: There is a combined living and dining room with couches, armchairs, satellite TV, and a table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There are four bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, access to the terrace, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The third bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, access to the terrace, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The fourth bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed, access to the garden, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and tub with a handheld shower. The utility room has a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board and there is a separate service bathroom with a toilet.
First floor: There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom, with a sloping ceiling, has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom, with a sloping ceiling, has two 90 cm single beds, one 160 cm queen-sized bed, and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Four kilometers from the house is a restaurant and shop in the small town of Chivres. The principle town is Beaune, which is located 20 kilometers away. Within the Cote d'Or of the Bourgogne region, Beaune is a charming town that has everything you'll need for a comfortable and activity-filled stay. There are restaurants, shops, and markets, as well as an SNCF train station so those day trips throughout France is very convenient for the traveler. Beaune is perhaps best known for its Burgundy wines for it is surrounded by large and flourishing vineyards. The Musee de Vin [wine museum] is housed in a former mansion that was used by the dukes of the Bourgogne and here you can learn about wine throughout history. Beaune has several other museums, each offering a unique and historical look of France.
