This loft in the centre of Paris combines modern, luminous, open space with original 18th century architectural design elements. Built originally in the 1870s during the Gustav Eiffel period, the loft was renovated from an old abandonned Printing House used by the Resistance for printing publications.

In 1940, resistance groups formed in Paris and were an instrumental force during the occupation. Publications were important in disseminating information to other groups. During the Loft renovation a secret room was discovered in the basement that had been used by the resistance during the war....

We were a group of 9 (Two families) staying at the Montorgueil Luxe Loft. When we arrived, Julie the owner was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The Loft if very spacious so we were really able to spread out.
The location is truly amazing, in the fantastic buzzy 2nd district, just a lovely stroll to a street full of gorgeous food shops plus the kitchen at the Loft is so well equipped, that it's easy to eat a meal fit for a king before you set out for the day on your Paris adventure. We walked everywhere from the loft (plus close to two metro stations) and felt we were in the heart of the city yet our street was quiet and interesting. The Loft has an amazing history and a really great feeling. We were there in January and were wonderfully warm, there are also skylights everywhere, laundry facilities, great cleaners Etc, everything to make your stay in Paris a great one So much better than staying in a hotel. We would recommend the Loft to anyone planning to...

Absolutely amazing apartment located in the 2nd District very close to trendy area for restaurants, bistros, fresh baguettes, local cheese, great fruit stands and very nice people. The apartment was more than we could ever imagine. Julie, the owner, was fantastic, came to meet us and walk us through her beautiful apartment. It is huge and our family of five were super comfortable. Fresh cut flowers, a wonderful bottle of red wine, Champagne, and fresh fruit were the added touches that made the apartment a home away from home. We didn't need anything, Julie made sure we had so many towels we couldn't take enough showers to put a dent in the supply. Her cleaning staff was kind, considerate and sweet. The bedrooms were comfortable, with AC that we never needed to use but on warm summer nights must be great. Or just open the windows and let the breeze come through. Full kitchen with cappuccino and espresso, tea pot, coffee maker all available. Full stove and oven, washer and dryer... more
